Voyageurs National Park
Voyageurs National Park, on the Minnesota border with Canada near International Falls, is an International Dark Sky Park (2020). The park covers about 218,000 acres of lakes and forest and offers ranger-led night sky viewing and talks. Headquarters is at 360 Hwy 11 East, (218) 283-6600; local outfitters rent boats, and the park asks visitors to follow bear food-storage guidance.
