Dark Sky Preserve · ON, CA
North Frontenac
North Frontenac Astronomy Park, about 6 km southwest of Plevna, Ontario, anchors the township's RASC Dark Sky Preserve, designated in 2013. The free site is open 24 hours with concrete telescope pads, parking, washrooms and a 16-inch observatory telescope that volunteers open during events. Camping and campfires are not allowed because it shares ground with a medical helipad, and red lights are preferred.
