Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park

Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park straddles the Alberta and Saskatchewan border and has been a Dark Sky Preserve since 2004. The Alberta side has 12 campgrounds, with more on the Saskatchewan side, and the Centre Block Observatory runs public programs from spring to fall. The Saskatchewan Summer Star Party meets each August at Meadows Campground, and the West Block is the darkest section.
