Cottonwood Canyon State Park
Cottonwood Canyon State Park is a remote, undeveloped Oregon park near Wasco, certified as a Dark Sky Park in 2024. Lone Tree Campground has 21 primitive sites, 14 walk-in tent sites and a group camp, plus four rustic cabins by reservation. There is no cell coverage and walkways are barely lit, so bring a flashlight; dark sky programs are posted on the park store events page.
