Beaver Hills Dark-Sky Preserve
Beaver Hills Dark-Sky Preserve is a dark-sky preserve in Alberta, designated in 2006, that includes Elk Island National Park. The park is open all day, every day, so you can visit at any hour of the night. Parks Canada limits artificial lighting there, offers stargazing programs, and warns that the Astotin Lake area can be breezy and cold after dark.
