Nevada has no lighting-fixture law. Its 2021 SB 52 (NRS 407A.570) tells the Division of Outdoor Recreation to run a voluntary dark sky designation for communities, parks, reserves, and byways, effective October 1, 2021. It sets no shielding or curfew rules. Draft regulations (LCB File R088-22) would call the award Nevada Starry Sky Destination.
