Okefenokee State Park
Okefenokee State Park (formerly Stephen C. Foster State Park) in Fargo, Georgia, is an International Dark Sky Park, certified in 2016. It has 52 tent, trailer and RV campsites, and gates lock at 10 p.m., so camping or a night program is the way to see the sky. There is no dedicated stargazing area, but the lot across from the Trading Post has open views, and night programs run through the year.
