Natural Bridge State Park
Natural Bridge State Park in Virginia, about 30 minutes from Roanoke, is an International Dark Sky Park certified in 2021. The park is open daily from 8 a.m. to dusk, with ranger-led stargazing, moonrise and astrophotography programs on selected dates. Primitive camping at Blue Hollow is open year-round and reservable; the sites have no hookups and RVs cannot reach them.
