Mount Carleton Provincial Park
Mount Carleton Provincial Park in northern New Brunswick is a dark-sky preserve designated in 2009, about 40 km from Saint-Quentin. Armstrong Campground and Nictau Lake are the favoured viewing spots, and Armstrong has 88 tent and trailer sites. Night viewing generally means an overnight stay, since park hours end at 8 p.m. in the main season, apart from the occasional dark-sky event.
