Devils River State Natural Area, Del Norte Unit
The Del Norte Unit of Devils River State Natural Area is a remote Texas park near Del Rio, designated a Dark Sky Sanctuary in 2019. Reservations are required, camping is primitive with no water or power, and you must bring all supplies. The gate is staffed Friday to Sunday with no check-in after 4 pm, and rangers lead night sky programs; visitors can borrow a Dark Sky pack.
