Crestone, Colorado
Crestone is a small Colorado town that became an International Dark Sky Community in 2021. The Dark Sky Crestone committee of the Crestone Foundation hosts community sky nights; one Perseids evening put an 8-inch telescope and lawn chairs at Crestone Charter School. Bring a chair, blanket and binoculars, and ask the committee for current dates.
