Black Mesa State Park
Black Mesa State Park is in the Oklahoma panhandle near Kenton, certified as a dark sky park in 2025. The park has RV sites with water and electric plus tent sites; reserve at 877-657-2757. The nearby nature preserve is open dawn to dusk only and has no camping, so plan night viewing at the state park, about 15 miles away.
