Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park
Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park in western Colorado was certified an International Dark Sky Park in 2015. The park never closes, so you can stargaze at any hour from South Rim overlooks such as Chasm View and Dragon Point, or North Rim spots like Kneeling Camel. Summer programs include telescope nights; South Rim Campground takes reservations and North Rim sites are first come.
