The Sky Today on Tuesday, October 27: Follow Kemble’s Cascade
Read the source: Astronomy.com (opens in new tab)
Kemble's Cascade, a chain of stars in Camelopardalis, leads to the 6th magnitude cluster NGC 1502 and survives bright moonlight. The constellation sits in the north, east of the Little Dipper and between Cassiopeia and Ursa Major, and the cascade holds about two dozen stars of 7th to 10th magnitude over 2.5 degrees. Binoculars or a finder scope take in the whole line at once.
