SpaceX launched a new batch of Starlink satellites from the California coast, expanding its broadband internet network. This launch is of interest to sky-watchers because it adds to the growing number of satellites in low Earth orbit, which can be seen as a string of lights moving across the night sky. Sky-watchers on the West Coast may be able to spot the satellites as they pass overhead, depending on the timing and location of the satellites' orbits.
