SpaceX is set to launch a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 21 data satellites for the US military's Space Development Agency. This launch is significant for sky-watchers as it involves a notable number of satellites being added to orbit, which can impact the night sky. Sky-watchers on the West Coast may be able to spot the Falcon 9's southerly trajectory after liftoff from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The launch is scheduled for 12:39 a.m. PDT, and those in the region can look out for the rocket's ascent.
