The moon and Jupiter aligned in a notable celestial event, with the moon passing in front of the gas giant from some locations. This alignment is exciting for sky-watchers, as it offers a unique opportunity to observe the moon and Jupiter together, and even catch a glimpse of Jupiter's moons. Sky-watchers can look forward to two meteor showers in October, adding to the month's astronomical appeal. The Draconid and another meteor shower will provide additional viewing opportunities for those interested in celestial events.
