# Dark Sky Law: Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia has no provincial or municipal dark-sky lighting law. The RASC Halifax Centre runs a public responsible-lighting awareness campaign, Kejimkujik National Park has been a federally managed RASC Dark-Sky Preserve since 2010, and in 2025 a Nova Scotia university sports field became the first DarkSky Approved Outdoor Sports Lighting project outside the United States.
