# Dark Sky Law: New Jersey

New Jersey has no statewide outdoor lighting or dark-sky statute. A legislative Light Pollution Study Commission examined the issue, and Assembly bill A3080 (a light-pollution measure) has been introduced but not enacted; the state has instead published a model lighting ordinance for towns to adopt voluntarily.
