Louisiana has no statewide outdoor lighting or light pollution statute. NCSL's roundup of state light pollution laws does not include it, and the DarkSky policy database lists no lighting statute for the state, only unrelated entries on customary uses and agency rules. Any lighting standards come from parish and city codes.
