Kentucky has no statewide light pollution statute. The lighting-related statutes the DarkSky policy database lists are KRS 177.863 (illumination of highway advertising devices), KRS 189.045 (flashing lights near highways) and KRS 150.395 (artificial light use under the wildlife chapter). None sets fixture standards for ordinary outdoor lighting.
