Delaware enacted a new outdoor lighting chapter in 2025 defining light pollution and cutoff luminaires and covering street lights, signs, searchlights, and area lighting, while exempting required vehicle and aircraft safety lighting. It is the state's first general statutory framework for controlling outdoor lighting.
