The Lyrids typically produce 15-20 meteors per hour, but a nearly full Moon in 2027 (peak falls within a day of the April 20 full Pink Moon) will wash out all but the brightest fireballs.

A tough year for the Lyrids because of the bright Moon; focus on the brightest streaks and do not expect high rates.
