| Date | December 14, 2027 |
| Type | Meteor Shower |
| Visible from | Visible throughout the US and Canada. |
The Geminids are usually the year's strongest shower at up to 120-150 meteors per hour, but the full Cold Moon falls on the same night in 2027, which will drown out all but the brightest meteors.
Best viewing tip
A tough year to see the Geminids well because of the same-night full Moon; watch for only the brightest fireballs.
